Everyone feels at home in our winter wonderland. The Fageralm family ski area is a paradise for nature lovers, while children are in good hands at the ski school.
Ski school at the hotel
Learn to ski or snowboard in the mountains of Salzburg – for kids ages 3 and up, as well as for mom and dad, of course. Ski School Resch offers courses for beginners, returning skiers, advanced skiers and "pros" during your family ski vacation.
Skiing at the Fageralm
A sunny high plateau with plenty of space, on glorious pistes covered in natural snow. Even during high season! Together with the unique scenery and traditional mountain huts, the Fageralm is a true insider tip for your family ski vacation.
Sleigh rides gnadenalm obertauern
A horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snow-covered winter landscape is a must. Enjoy the peace and romance during a ride in Obertauern. The round trip takes about 1 hour. You can end the ride in the cozy Gnadenalm restaurant. Gnadenalm Leisure Center in Obertauern +43 6456 7351
Sleigh rides in Filzmoos
More than 20 teams consisting of Norikers, Friesians and Haflingers can be found in Filzmoos, where horse-drawn sleigh rides have a long tradition.

Over 20 km of cleared winter hiking paths await you here with us in Forstau. Whether through the snowy forests, to Forstau-Winkl or up to the Fageralm – winter hiking is healthy, good for your muscles and a beautiful alternative to alpine winter sports.
