Radstadt is a town in children's hands on Mega Children's Day. Whatever the weather, there is plenty to paint, marvel at and try out in the old town: Cars, walls, shop windows and faces, for example. There is a climbing wall waiting for our little ones as well as a handshake with Mickey Mouse.
Every year on the last weekend in July, the eight innkeepers of the Schernbergstraße in Radstadt invite you to the traditional dumpling festival. From grammel and liver dumplings to various fruit dumplings and ice cream and marzipan dumplings, there is something for every palate. Of course, the musical accompaniment is also a fixed component of the event.
All tractor lovers meet in July for a joint ride to the Rossbrand - the local mountain of Radstadt. At the town square the tractors can be marveled at and admired.
In the historic courtyard of the Radstadt Court of Justice, weekly open-air cinema screenings of current films take place.
Every year on the first weekend in August, the Bürgergarde Radstadt invites you to the Gardefest. There is a marquee with live music and in addition the famous Gardehendl. A small fairground invites the children to play.
Businessmen and craftsmen from the region present and sell local products from their own production. The market is framed by farm products of regional cuisine and local musicians.
The arts and crafts market is held annually on the first weekend in September in all weather conditions.
The fixed part of the SalzburgerLand is the annual Bauernherbst. At many traditional festivities you can participate in the life of the Salzburg people.
