In our family ski area, children truly are in the best of hands. Even during high season! Most of the parents, too, will find their own personal piece of winter happiness on the snowy, small-yet-delightful Fageralm. Nature lovers are equally as thrilled. The sportiest members of the family will be able to go carving and powdering in the big nearby ski regions of Schladming-Dachstein and Ski amadé.

Ski school at the hotel
Learn to ski or snowboard in the mountains of Salzburg – for kids ages 3 and up, as well as for mom and dad, of course. Ski School Resch offers courses for beginners, returning skiers, advanced skiers and "pros" during your family ski vacation.

Sleigh rides gnadenalm obertauern

Sleigh rides in Filzmoos
More than 20 teams consisting of Norikers, Friesians and Haflingers can be found in Filzmoos, where horse-drawn sleigh rides have a long tradition.

Over 20 km of cleared winter hiking paths await you here with us in Forstau. Whether through the snowy forests, to Forstau-Winkl or up to the Fageralm – winter hiking is healthy, good for your muscles and a beautiful alternative to alpine winter sports.
